First, kudos to you on losing 50 lbs. I’ve been there. I also lost 35 lbs when I set going to the gym every single day a priority almost 3 years ago. It happened over less than 3 months of time and I achieved my goal.

I am currently reading The One Thing, by Gary Keller with Jay Papasan, and I completely agree with this. Also, like the book talks about it, I agree that purpose is a must before setting priorities. Depending on what purpose one has in life, which can change over time (making money at one point and saving the world at another, like Bill Gates making the greatest operating system at one point and developing vaccine and saving lives at another), in order to make THAT ONE THING a reality, one must prioritize things.

First, once one’s purpose is defined, he/she must prioritize what needs to be done, and focus on productivity. Without purpose, these priorities won’t last. Cheers.
