Like spiky islands in a drained lake bed
MORNING HIKE IN BRYCE CANYON
The view from Sunset Point over the Navajo Loop Trail in the basin just took our breath away. The clumps of the iconic hoodoos like spiky islands in a drained lakebed protruded up illuminating in the morning sunlight. I asked myself why I had been dreaded coming here. Maybe because I just had seen one too many photos… And yet, I couldn’t help myself taking photos of the sandstone while delightfully overwhelmed by its beauty.
