SOLITUDE AT MORAINE LAKE

I got to this glacier-fed, crystal clear Moraine Lake really early. Not many people were around. I appreciated how the Valley of the Ten Peaks behind the lake. Still surrounded by the mist, these 10,000 plus feet peaks were slowly waking up. There was a gentle breeze but it didn’t stir the water much. It was one of those moments where I wished I could’ve just sat there for hours. But it was time to get moving.

Valley of the Ten Peaks — Mt. Fay, Mt. Little, Mt. Bowlen, Mt. Tonsa, Mt. Perren, Mt. Allen, Mt. Tuzo, Deltaform Mountain, Neptuak Mountain and Wenkchemna Peak (from east to west)
