This resonates with me quite a bit. Yes, we all hear about it all the time. But recently I listened to a #timferris podcast episode, where #caseyneistat was a guest, and CN talked about his grandmother who started tap dancing at the age of 6 to lose weight (that’s what her parents got her into) and danced and taught tap dancing into the age of 90 till she passed away, when he was asked about how to measure success. He was pointing out that she didn’t do anything she hated. Instead, she did things she loved. We tend to forget what we truly love. And like you said, the end result is the same. We die. So, what matters is how happily or unhappily we lived ourlives till the moment we take the last breath on this planet. And that’s why I’m making changes in my life right now at the age of almost mid-40s (scary as hell). Thanks for your thoughts!
