Till you get it
SUNRISE AT SOUTH LAKE
When I woke up next morning, the sky was clear. As if the rain that came down hard overnight never happened. But then again, that is how it is in the mountains. Unpredictable. I grabbed my gear and climbed the rocky hump that I considered the best vantage point to the lake. Soon the sun rose, and the gorgeous orange glow descended across the top of the peaks. And as I patiently waited, the reflection of the glow spread across the lake like gently applied Smucker’s orange jam across a piece of toast. It may not work out in the morning. It may not work out in the evening. And it may not even work out for night sky. But get up and try again. Till you get it.
