View of Milky Way from Mars
MILKY WAY OVER NAVAJO TRAIL
I recently read the Martian by Andy Weir. There was a part where Mark Watney, our hero, drove the modified rover through a valley, which he named Lewis, after one of his crew members, and I tried to picture in my head the valley that may have been clustered with hoodoos and pinnacles. While strolling down the trail, I wondered if this was what could have been the view of the Milky Way from Mars.
