Whole world plunges into shimmering twilight
TWILIGHT
Once the sun sinks below the horizon, the whole world plunges into the shimmering twilight of orange and magenta. The mellow ambiguity and obscurity that usually come with it start to creep in. The world is slowly getting primed for the darkness. Still a bit early though. The overly saturated glow that the sky still holds is still pleasing to the eye. The bluffs ornamented with the palm trees and towering over the barren rock shore show off their illuminating sedimentary rock layers. The tide slowly crawl back in as night lurks closer. It is time to head for the higher ground.
